HOW ARE YOU – THE BIG CAMPUSPLUS HEALTH SURVEY
WHAT‘S THE POINT?
A campus in lockdown, digital teaching, a time full of changes. We want to know how you feel about it and what can be done better. Help us to improve the situation for all students at TUK and, with a little luck, win a brand-new notebook.
AIM OF THE STUDY
This study is intended to collect meaningful and up-to-date data on health and the study situation so that the TU Kaiserslautern can get an overview of the areas in which further action is needed.
WHO IS BEHIND IT?
On behalf of the university management, CampusPlus is conducting the second repeat survey on the health status of TUK students. The survey is being conducted in cooperati- on with the "Public Health: Prevention and Psychosocial Health Research" department at Freie Universität Berlin. The survey is part and basis of all CampusPlus activities and is part of the project to promote the bio-psycho-social health of the students of the TUK, which is funded by the Techniker Krankenkasse.
WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DATA?
Your data will be collected on a server certified by the German Federal Office for Information Security and deleted after the survey has been completed. An anonymized, summarized data set will be stored and further processed, which excludes conclusions about individual persons. The results will be published in the winter semester 2021/2022 by TUK in cooperation with FUB.
University Health Report – THE RESULTS
We can only implement useful measures to increase your well-being here at TUK if we know how you’re feeling. In order to know just that, we carry out a comprehensive online survey every three years that asks you about our various health parameters. At the end, all results are organized and presented to you in the form of the University Health Report (UHR). We look to build on these results by identifying areas in need of improvement and implementing the proper solutions. In 2015 and 2018 we asked participants about their physical, mental and social health. The UHR summarized the results and formed the basis for the implementation of various CampusPlus measures. The project takes place in cooperation with the Free University of Berlin. 1400 students took part in the previous two surveys. We’re proud to say that the results are representative of the TUK student body. You can find the results at www.uni-kl.de/sgm.
